Tim is joint Owner and Founder of AQUATECH AUSTRALASIA Pty Ltd.

Tim’s skillsets derive from 20 years of blue chip corporate experience and 5+ years in the consulting industry assisting clients to optimise value in their Chinese Foreign partnerships across the lifecycle phases of Joint Ventures (JV).

Today, Tim is now 100% focused on the outright success of AQUATECH AUSTRALASIA Pty Ltd. 

Tim’s ability to comprehend and articulate “beyond the rhetoric” in both Chinese and Western environments has gained him the reputation as a specialist in the field of Chinese Foreign Joint Ventures.

He will bring all these skills to bear in sourcing & procurement of QUALITY product at keen pricing for AQUATECH. In turn, savings will be passed onto our Chosen, Valued and appointed Distributors.

As importantly, Tim has the ability to create and sustain long term relationships with Aquatech’s supply chain, bonds which form the bedrock of value and quality assurance for the business in the long term.

Prior to AQUATECH, Tim spent 20 years in the Royal Dutch Shell Group in a range of senior business development, investment and commercial roles, including a longstanding 12 years in China representing Shell in multiple transactions across the JV lifecycle, namely deal scoping, strategy, negotiations, JV execution/start-up, governance and dissolution.

While working in China, Tim was involved in some of SHELL’s largest and pioneering market entry partnerships, including experience “from the inside” having been a lead representative posted into one of their most complex and challenging JVs.

Tim holds undergraduate degrees in Commerce and Law from the University of New South Wales (Australia), and a Graduate Qualification in Management from the Australian Graduate School of Management. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Tim grew up in Singapore and Australia, and now lives in Melbourne. Alongside his valued business partner and joint owner Mark Thomas, he is involved in the day-to-day management and expansion of AQUATECH AUSTRALASIA Pty Ltd.
